Then we are told it was 4 years, then back to 2.The world system is completely unexplained.And we never know what anyone is thinking, not even the main character.The thing that I disliked the most was the confusion that resulted from her style of writing and the fact that he doesn't try to avoid his fate. He doesn't even try to fight it!! And, some may say this was sweet, but I kinda think it was a jerk move- he found her soulmate and hired him to protect her in the hopes that they would fall in love either before or after his death.There are some other minor things like, the author says it has been 2 years since her first love/ fiance died. more it means.Her fiance is keeping a secret from her, that everyone knows about except her, and we don't find out what it is until about 75% into the book.The secret? He is fated to die ten years after marrying her. Like, there are visiting his father and all of a sudden there is a plot to kidnap her so they escape to her parents house.Nothing was explained in this book!We are told she is the most beautiful woman in the world, but not why.We are told she is special, but not why.We are told she has a pure white aura, but not what. The transition between actions did not flow. For example: She agrees to marry him and falls in love with him in a week. If you don't like the typical Athurian love triangle- Do Not Read This Book.I plot moved too fast and felt jumbled and chaotic.
I really wanted to like it, I thought I had potential, but it drastically failed to live up to my expectations.
